ackling succession and legacy shouldn’t be a fire and forget task. While it
is important to invest time up front to get the right parameters in place, it
is worth revisiting arrangements and revising them over time, much like a
classic car that benefits from occasional upgrades to keep it in tip top condition.
A level of understanding about trusts and taxation, and the structures that
protect, support and sustain the family’s wealth and projects, cannot be taken
for granted.
